The Marshall McLuhan number of this short- lived effort at a widely marketed multi-media assembled magazine of art and culture. It appeared sporadically over the years 1965- 1971, and with each number assigned to different designers. This number was designed by McLuhan's collaborator, Quentin Fiore. Among the several separately printed items are: "The Medium is the Massage" (a press- proof from book), "How to Improve the World (You Will Only Makes Matters Worse)," by John Cage, "The Electronics of Music," by Bowers and Kuhn, and "Psycles," an illustrated booklet on bikers with contributions by Danny Lyons, among others. Among the separately printed adverts in the advertising folio is a copy of the May 1967 issue of THE SOMETHING ELSE NEWSLETTER.
