New York: National Comics / DC, April 1951. 52pp. Small quarto (262 x 176 mm). Pictorial wrapper, contents in color. Light stress around the spine staples, textblock stock shows uniform very slight tanning, tiny pin prick in lower margin of five leaves, minute shallow edge loss (ca. 1 cm in breadth) in lower edge of lower wrapper, but a very good copy. Item #WRCLIT82950
An early Golden Age number in this important series, with illustrated works by Wellman, Gardner Fox ("The World of Giant Ants"), Manny Rubin ("Hollywood - 3000 A.D."), Edmond Hamilton ("The Adventures of Chris KL-99"), etc. Neither slabbed nor graded by CBCS, but very good by bookseller's standards, and probably a 6.5 to 7 (near fine) on a comic grading scale.
