Copy #11 of 45 numbered copies and five hors commerce copies, all signed by the poet, the artist, and the translator. Colonial French born artist, writer and translator Rene Laubiès is often encountered by English language readers through his association with Robert Creeley and the Divers Press. He died the year after the publication of this work in the paupers' ward of the Government Hospital in Mangalore, India, after having been delivered there (according to reports) by persons unknown.
