Representative publicity stills issued to promote the third, and most faithful, English language film adaptation of Conrad's 1915 novel, directed by John Cromwell, based on a screenplay by John Balderston, and starring Fredric March, Betty Field, Cedric Hardwicke, at al. The film was released on 21 December. Previous English language versions appeared in 1919 (silent) and 1930. Two of the stills bear captions suggesting they were used for French language distribution.
