Theresa Helburn directed Helen Hayes, Helen Menken, Philip Merivale, and Edgar Barrier, among others. The program features an historical background essay, biographies of the author and each of the principal players, and numerous production scenes. The play had a run of 248 performances and was the basis for the 1936 John Ford film adaptation.
