An original daybill poster for the Australian release of the 1962 British film adaptation of Banks's first novel, based on a screenplay (and directed) by Bryan Forbes, and starring Leslie Caron, Anthony Booth, Avis Bunnage, et al. Caron was nominated for an Oscar, and won a Golden Globe, as well as a BAFTA award. The film premiered in the UK in Nov. 1962, but distribution elsewhere appears to have waited until 1963 (or later).
