Lower foretips worn, some spotting to boards, front inner hinge cracking slightly, heavy offsetting from formerly laid in clipping to front endsheets (with a couple short tears to free endsheet), 1889 and 1895 clippings affixed to first blank, with magazine portrait of Hearn affixed opposite, residue of clipping on rear free endsheet; a sound, but obviously blemished copy of a formerly somewhat uncommon book.
