A scarce album of photomechanical reproductions of photographs of landmarks and important buildings in Austin, Tx. The pages are printed in an accordion-style binding. Notable subjects captured in the photographs include the State Capitol, the Driskill Hotel, the Texas School for the Blind, the Texas School for the Deaf, St. Edward's College, the "Insane Asylum," Stuart Female University, the Governor's Mansion, and an array of private residences, among other buildings. The most striking image is a two-page "Bird's-Eye View of Austin, Texas," which shows the downtown area looking straight up Congress Avenue to the Capitol. OCLC records just seventeen copies.
