The second edition, following the first edition of the previous year, of Mandrillon's work on the United States and his translation into French of Cluny's THE AMERICAN TRAVELLER. Cluny details the commerce and produce of the colonies in 1769, with later additions by Mandrillon. Includes a handsome map showing the United States from Georgia to Maine and westward to the Alleghenies. Mandrillon's own work describes the states and their produce, and concludes with an early printing of the treaty between the United States and the Netherlands (the second treaty concluded by the United States, after the French alliance).
