First edition of this history of the Gila River, one of the later volumes in the Rivers of America series, by Western author Edwin Corle, with illustrations by Ross Santee. This copy contains a watercolor and ink sketch of a river bed (presumably the Gila) by Santee on the front free endpaper, with an inscription, "For Jeff Dykes, Ross Santee," to the noted collector and bibliographer of Texana whose copy this was.
