A Parliamentary printing of British correspondence from the commission established by the Webster-Ashburton Treaty of 1842 to determine several boundary disputes regarding American and Canadian territory. In the northeast, this meant primarily the delineation of the border between Maine and New Brunswick in order to halt growing local disputes, collectively known as the Aroostook War.
