First edition of this excellent architectural reference, with much on carpentry and joinery, highlighted by the plates representing different styles and examples of molding, structure, decoration, roofs, domes, etc. The attractive plates were produced by the prolific lithographic firm of D.W. Kellogg (later Kellogg & Comstock), which ranked only behind Currier & Ives in their output of decorative prints. An important American architectural work. AMERICAN IMPRINTS 24936. HITCHCOCK 590.
