The first English edition of this important Pacific voyage, after the first French edition of 1716. "This first English translation contains the same engravings as the French original, but is preferred to the latter because it contains a postscript by Edmund Halley (of comet fame), which corrects certain geographical errors made by Frezier" - Hill.
