[Chicago. 1903]. Eight of nine parts (lacking part 1), bound without wrappers in one volume. Later green buckram, spine gilt. Ex-lib. with most library markings removed. Bright and clean internally. A bound set of parts 2-9 of the "Art Work" series for Atlanta, with numerous photogravures of turn-of-the- century residential and civic architecture, natural landscapes, etc. The many illustrations of prominent citizens' houses, which are quite grand and characteristic of the 1880-1900 period, are noteworthy, as are the images of churches and schools. A superb collection of Atlanta scenes, with fifty-nine plates (some plates have two images, for a total of more than eighty scenes) as well as some accompanying text leaves.
