A rare and impressive southern nursery trade catalogue for all manner of fruits, trees, and flowers, including apples, peaches, cherries, nectarines, strawberries, and evergreens. Many exotic fruits and flowers are offered, including figs and pomegranates, and numerous varieties of roses. Prices are listed, dates of maturation are given, and the various succulent qualities are described. William Summer was the proprietor of the Pomaria Nurseries, located near the Pomaria Depot of the Greenville and Columbia Rail Road. Most of Summer's business came from the South and Cuba, and he invited guests to visit the nursery, where they would be entertained "in rural style." Rare. OCLC 23823385.
