Worcester, Ma. [ 1908]. 133pp. Quarto. Original limp leather binding, rebacked. Corners chipped. Slight loss to corners of "Skeleton Key" map, which is pasted inside front cover. Overall quite good. Item #WRCAM24263
One of the earliest American motoring atlases, compiled "from United States Government surveys, official state, county and city surveys and original sources, by Henry MacNair, Geographer, Associate Member American Society Civil Engineers." This edition not in the NUC, which does record two copies of a new edition of the following year. A lovely piece from the beginnings of auto travel.
