Spine label largely chipped away, bookplate and shelf- tags of the "Junior Carlton Club," otherwise a very good, crisp copy, with the half-title, ad leaf and terminal blank. First Dublin edition. Often remarked (and so again here) as one of the pleasant exceptions to the rule about Irish reprintings of 18th century English works appearing crudely printed on inferior paper. The ad leaf announces the imminent publication of an edition of Boswell's LIFE... in one volume. POTTLE 58.
