Boston: Printed by T. Fleet, for the booksellers, and sold at their shops, 1737 [i.e. 1736]. [16]pp., including a single woodcut anatomical illustration with astrological references on p.[2]. 12mo. Later stitching along spine. Moderately browned, dampstained, and soiled. Edges worn and chipped. First leaf with a few small holes (slight loss of text on p.[2]) and small repairs; upper-outer corner of final leaf torn with slight loss. Contemporary inscriptions on pp.[3 and 5], with some loss due to closely trimmed edges. A good copy. The final almanac issued by Nathan Bowen, who compiled a series of almanacs published in Boston between 1721 and 1736. In addition to the calendar year, this NEW-ENGLAND DIARY: OR, ALMANACK includes predictions for the year's eclipses and a brief report of "some discoveries in the system of the world, made by the great Sir Isaac Newton."
