THE JOURNALS OF APPLETON MILO HARMON, A PARTICIPANT IN THE MORMON EXODUS FROM ILLINOIS AND THE EARLY SETTLEMENT OF UTAH, 1846 - 1877.
Harmon, Appleton Milo:

Glendale: Arthur H. Clark Company, 1946. xiv,[2],208pp. including the original color title, in- text illustrations and tipped-in journal entry in facsimile. Original blue cloth, gilt-stamped cover and spine. Gilt on spine slightly faded, otherwise fine. Originally published by the Gillick Press in 1946, the Arthur H. Clark Company had a new titlepage designed and tipped in over the original color title of the Gillick Press. It was Arthur H. Clark Company policy to either place a label cancel over the original publishers information, or cut out the old title entirely and replace it with a new Clark titlepage. Here, the illustrated Gillick Press titlepage has not be removed, ostensibly because of the brilliant color of the artwork. CLARK & BRUNET, p.279.
