A very good, clean copy, partially unopened. "Mr. Smith came to America with the intention of settling in Michigan, but returned finally to England in 1842" - Sabin. Smith apparently became disillusioned with frontier life and American support for the Canadian rebellion. Edited by Floyd Benjamin Streeter. From an edition limited to ninety-nine copies, this is number forty-one in "Heartman's Historical Series." SABIN 83427.
