Old stamp of American Antiquarian Society on page 1. Rough but unsophisticated. The author was a determined antiquarian and founder of the first American historical association, the Massachusetts Historical Society. This copy belonged to early AAS patron and president Stephen Salisbury, who signed it in 1796. EVANS 28258.
