Rubbed, lacks free endsheets, several ink or pencil notations, some scattered foxing and spotting, else good. Prints three short stories: "The Fisherman of the Solitary Island," "The Negro Nurse" and "The Two Cousins...," which were originally published in 1827 in the same format. Sabin lists only an 1850 edition; the NUC records only the 1827 edition; AMERICAN IMPRINTS locates nine copies of the first edition, but only the BL copy of the 1830 printing; and Howes records only two undated printings (neither being the first edition).
